The 47-year-old singer, who is widely regarded as one of Africa’s top musicians, said this on a recent episode of the Afrobeats podcast, hosted by Adesope Olajide, aka Shopsydoo.
It felt nice to him when he was noticed, but he doesn’t take it personally when he isn’t since no one owes him anything because everyone has their own tales to tell.
