Banky W shared struggle with porn0grahy
Olubankole Wellington, widely known as Banky W, a Nigerian singer turned politician, has lavished adulation on his wife, Adesua Etomi.
Banky W expressed his heartfelt thankfulness to God for his wife during a church sermon on Sunday, June 25.
In the lesson titled “The Prison of Porn0graphy,” Banky W discussed his personal struggle with pornography in the past and how his wife supported him until he was entirely free of the addiction.
He underlined the significance of finding trustworthy people to confide in and seek help from. Banky W admitted that his wife is the one thing he is most grateful to God for in his life.
He emphasized the importance of having someone with whom you can openly communicate, pushing people to choose the perfect person with whom to open up about their problems.
Banky W admitted that throughout his fight with porn0graphy, he would spend hours on the phone with his wife in order to keep himself from succumbing to temptation.
“If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman (pointing to his wife). It’s important to have somebody you can talk with, pick the right person and open up about your struggle. When I was still dealing with pornography, I would call this woman and talk with her for hours on the phone just so I wouldn’t break,” he said in part.
