Charly Boy reacts to Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma’s confession
Charles Oputa, commonly known as Charly Boy, a veteran Nigerian artist, has claimed that political personalities may have had an impact on the present admissions issue concerning Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, the UTME candidate.
Charly Boy, who is well-known for taking a strong stance on societal issues and criticizing governmental officials, turned to Twitter on Sunday to express his thoughts.
The controversy began when the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results made public that Nkechiyere Umeh was the applicant with the highest score.
Mmesoma, a 19-year-old student at Uruagu Nnewi’s Anglican Girls’ Secondary School, claimed she obtained a 362-point score.
In response, the Anambra State government formed a committee to investigate her allegations.
Mmesoma admitted to falsifying her exam results, which was confirmed by the committee’s findings.
Many people, like Charly Boy, reacted to this news by quickly drawing a link between Mmesoma’s behavior and the social impact of political leaders.
Mmesoma Ejikeme fooled many including me, checkout the fluency with which she defended herself with such innocence. These children na wa, ooo.
She is still a brilliant girl so let’s not be in a hurry to destroy her, the parents have a lot of counselling to do with her, pic.twitter.com/jgzDscM83z

Charly Boy took to Twitter to express his surprise at Mmesoma’s ability to trick so many people, including himself, with her eloquent defense and apparent innocence.
He also emphasized the importance of exercising prudence while making decisions, emphasizing that Mmesoma was still a gifted individual who required parental guidance and advice.
He wrote;
“Mmesoma Ejikeme fooled many including me, checkout the fluency with which she defended herself with such innocence. These children na wa, ooo. She is still a brilliant girl so let’s not be in a hurry to destroy her, the parents have a lot of counselling to do with her.
