Ali Nuhu cancelled Davido over a music video he posted
Ali Nuhu, a popular Kannywood actor, has responded to a video made by Afrobeats musician Davido on behalf of his latest signee, Logos Olori.
On Saturday, Davido sparked uproar by posting a new music video for Logos Olori, which drew heavy criticism, notably from Muslims who found the song “offensive and disrespectful” to their religion.
A group of men dressed in white ‘jalamiya’ praying before dancing in front of a mosque was shown in the video.
Davido’s tweet, on the other hand, did not go over well with Muslim believers because the video’s content was deemed offensive to Islam. Many vowed to stop downloading his music, while others promised to exact their own punishment if he did not remove the video and apologize.
Ali Nuhu also expressed his displeasure on Instagram, urging the artist to erase the video and apologize immediately.
