Israel DMW apologized to the Muslim Community
Israel Afeare, also known as Israel DMW, Davido’s personal logistics manager, has apologized to the Muslim community for his boss’s viral video.
Davido has received backlash on social media for the promotional video snippet he published for his new signee, Logos Olori.
Remember that the video provoked fury among Nigerian Muslims since it showed men dressed in Jalamiya, an Islamic costume, praying and dancing in front of a mosque.
They took to social media to express their disgust with the artist, ordering him to remove the video and apologize to them.
Following the outrage, Davido eventually caved to pressure and withdrew the video, albeit without apologizing.
His aide, Israel DMW, has now taken the effort to apologize on his boss’s behalf, claiming that the video was benign and they didn’t anticipate it to make such a stir.
On his Instagram story, he wrote, “Let me specially apologise to my Muslims brothers and sisters, on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody, which is one of his hubbies. It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented.
