Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Paris Saint-Germain have reached a signing agreement for Neymar.
The Brazilian international, who will sign a two-year contract, is having his medical today and is anticipated to transfer in the following 48 hours.
Neymar cost PSG a world-record £200 million from Barcelona in 2017, but according to sources close to the club, who have been open to selling him for the last three transfer windows, they may get up to £86.3 million for him.
Neymar, who is 31 years old, is not seen as a key player by PSG new head coach Luis Enrique, and the club has been open to selling the striker to concentrate on building a younger, more competitive team.
Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports News reports that Neymar will get £129.4 million a year in Saudi Arabia, which is six times what he was making at PSG.
This summer, Al Hilal also made attempts for Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.
However, Mbappe will remain at PSG, while Messi chose to sign with Inter Miami.
The France captain was frozen out by the club after refusing to sign a new contract, meaning he could leave for free at the end of the season.
Despite PSG’s eagerness to sell him, Mbappe claimed he would not leave this summer. However, he has now indicated his loyalty to the club and has returned to first-team training.
Al Hilal made a world-record bid of £258 million to PSG last month, but Mbappe turned down the one-year transfer to Saudi Arabia.
