Iyanya opens up on how he nearly took his life
Iyanya, a popular Nigerian artist, has spoken up about his near-suicide attempt while dealing with professional stress and debt.
Iyanya revealed this in an interview on the most recent episode of the “Tea With Tay” podcast, which is hosted by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, also known as Taymesan.
The singer added that he would have carried out the act if it hadn’t been for the assistance of his management, who believed that he was up to something.
Iyanya admitted that he had already purchased the deadly substance he intended to consume in order to end his life before his manager interrupted him.
