“Niniola was jealous of me” – Teni
Teniola Apata, also known as Teni, a Nigerian musician, has said that she previously thought her sister Niniola was jealous of her skills.
She revealed this in a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast while discussing her relationship with her famous musician sister.
Teni remembered how she and her sisters used to rehearse together as children. Her elder sister, Doyin, often complimented her voice, but Niniola frequently argued that her voice was not’sweet.’
Teni confessed that the repeated criticism had caused her to feel Nini was envious of her singing ability.
