Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remix with Selena Gomez just achieved chart history as the first Nigerian single to spend a year on the Billboard Hot 100.
Davido discussed the achievement in a recent interview with UAE’s The Kris Fade Show, expressing his surprise that the song hit the Top 5 on the charts.
He acknowledged his awe at the rapid global spread of Afrobeat and his satisfaction in seeing artists like Rema thrive in other nations.
