“I need 20 Grammy” – Davido
David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, said in a recent statement that he believes he deserves more than 20 Grammy Awards.
During an exclusive interview with a well-known platform, the singer revealed that he has been nominated for three Grammy Awards this year.
The interviewer acknowledged Davido‘s prominent involvement in Afrobeat on the African continent and inquired as to what the nomination means to him personally.

Many social media users responded to the singer’s statement by leaving comments on the post.
In response, the singer stated: “Shout out to the academy; this is my first nomination ever, so it’s crazy to get three at one time.”
“We worked really hard on this album, on this record, and I was always just patient.”
He finished by expressing his view that he deserves several Grammys, saying “If you ask me if I deserve Grammys in the past, if you ask me, I need 20 Grammys already. But like I said, God’s timing is the best.”
