Just a few days after Don Jazzy introduced Supremos Football Club, Nigerian music legend Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’banj, has announced the opening of his football team, Koko FC.

The N50 million award, the biggest per-game payout in the Nigerian football league, will be up for grabs for D’banj’s Koko FC.

D’banj asked prospective football players to submit a one-minute video displaying their abilities on The Cream platform in order to find talented individuals. To complete the team, the players who received the most votes will be chosen for a live match.

“Share a one-minute video of your on-field prowess. Every week, the players that receive the most votes will be chosen, and the team will be chosen in person at a game. On X, D’banj made a statement.

The debut of Koko FC, which marks D’banj’s foray into the sports world, has excited Nigerian football fans.
