Wizkid reveals track-list for new album “Morayo.”
Nigerian singer Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim, has formally released the track list for his eagerly awaited sixth studio album, “Morayo.”
The project will include five guest artists in addition to the singer, who has already released two tracks from the album.
The album is titled “Morayo,” in remembrance of Wizkid’s late mother, who passed away in 2023. It is a sequel to his 2022 endeavor, More Love, Less Ego. The project, which is slated for publication on November 22, 2024, is expected to reveal a very personal side of the front-man for Starboy Entertainment.
Wizkid has already released two singles in anticipation of the album’s release: the catchy party anthem “Kese (Dance)” and the emotional R&B collaboration “Piece of My Heart,” which swiftly captured the attention of fans.
On November 18, 2024, Wizkid released the complete 16-track playlist as excitement reached a fever level. With a stellar cast of guest performances that includes French rapper Tiakola, American vocal powerhouses Brent Faiyaz and Jazmine Sullivan, Nigerian neo-Fuji superstar Asake, and Anaïs, the album promises an enthralling blend of Afrobeat rhythms, R&B vibes, and international influences.
