Arsenal Signs Chelsea’s Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for £5 Million.
The previous season, Kepa Arrizabalaga, who cost the Blues £71.8 million to sign in 2018, was on loan at Bournemouth from Chelsea. He will now fight with David Raya for a starting position at Arsenal after leaving Stamford Bridge seven years later for only £5 million.
Kepa, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, has signed a three-year contract with the Emirates and will provide veteran cover for international teammate David Raya.

Arsenal is said to have been impressed by Kepa’s willingness to join the club and compete for a position on the team.
The Gunners met a release clause in the 30-year-old’s Chelsea contract to secure their first signing of the summer. Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard are scheduled to accompany him through the door.
After signing his contract, Kepa stated, “I’m happy to be here, really excited, and looking forward to what’s next.
“When I speak with Mikel [Arteta] and Inaki [Cana, goalkeeping coach], they both express a strong desire to win. I believe we are very close to winning, and I hope that we can do it as a team.”
Following his season-long loan at the Emirates, the Bournemouth goalkeeper returned to his parent club, and Kepa will take Neto’s role as Arsenal’s backup goalkeeper.
