“Be like Wizkid” – Shallipopi
Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, a budding musician, has shared his thoughts on the value of stillness and allowing music to speak for itself.
In an interview with 78 Factory, he revealed that he believes the secret to staying relevant in the music industry is to emulate Wizkid’s social media etiquette.
Shallipopi underlined that musicians who say too much lose their value, and that being silence allows their music and accomplishment to speak for them, just as Wizkid.
He said: “To stay relevant, you stay silent. When you talk too much, you lose value. Let your music and your success speak for you like Wizkid.”
During the conversation, Shallipopi also stressed that his music is not afrobeats, but rather afro-pluto.
