Burna Boy performs in La Defense Arena Paris
The Grammy winner continued his “Love, Damini” World Tour on May 20, 2023, in Paris, France at the La Défense Arena.
The hitmaker accomplished a feat never before accomplished by an African artist: selling out the 40,000-person Arena.
Burna Boy performed tracks off his Grammy-nominated sixth album, “Love, Damini,” which is due out in 2022 and including hits like “Last Last,” “For Your Hand,” and “Its Plenty.”
Fans were seen singing along to his 2018 smash tune “YE” in concert footage posted on social media. He also delighted fans with some of his timeless songs from his five studio albums.
Burna Boy has grown to become the most well-known artist outside of Africa since breaking through with “YE” in 2018. ‘African Giant’ got him his first Grammy nomination in 2019. He entered the 2020 Grammy Awards with his fifth album, “Twice As Tall.”
With sold-out performances in some of the biggest venues including the Madison Square Garden, O2 Arena, Toyota Centre Texas, and numerous other locations throughout Europe, Burna Boy has made a name for himself as a top-tier performer.
On June 3, 2023, the Grammy winner will make history by headlining a concert in the London Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 60,000.
