Davido speaks on feature charge
The minimum fee for a feature, according to Davido, is $100,000.
One of the most well-known African musicians in the world, Davido’s music is heard in many parts of the world, and his most recent album, “Timeless,” has set numerous streaming records.
When Davido was recently asked how much he charges for participation on the Bootleg Kev Podcast, he said he costs people he knows $100,000 while others pay more.
Davido also stated that he would be happy to work for no payment if the artist was someone he liked and knew would promote the music.
“To be honest, if we do a record and I know you’re going to lose it to the fullest and you’re an artist that I enjoy then I’m happy to do it.”
The multi-award-winning megastar added that Chris Brown is creative and encouraging, which makes working with him enjoyable. Close friends Davido and Chris Brown have worked together on a number of songs, the most recent of which can be found on Chris Brown’s album “Breezy” from 2022.
