Farida Sobowale attempts suicide
Farida Sobowale of House of Phreeda, a popular Lagos socialite, was rescued after attempting suicide on the Third Mainland Bridge.
She drove up to the bridge in her Lexus SUV, came down, and was about to jump into the river when she was rescued by others present.

Online videos show the woman, who was dressed entirely in black, sobbing excessively while being consoled by those who rescued her. Sobowale is a well-known entrepreneur in the Lagos beauty sector.
Farida and her husband, Demola, tied the knot in Lagos two months ago. According to rumors, their marriage has ended, and this has had a huge impact on her mental health.
