Iyanya, however, responded to the accusations on Monday via his Twitter account, expressing disbelief and promising to address them later.

Popular The Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has accused Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, often known as Iyanya, of cheating on her with Tonto Dikeh while they were together.

The publication of Yvonne’s memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” on Monday generated a lot of interest online.

The romance between Yvonne and Nigerian musician Iyanya ended when she discovered he was having an affair with well-known actress Tonto Dikeh, according to the book, which also contained previously unrevealed details about her life.

In the book’s Chapter 10, “Iyanya and My Love Life,” Yvonne discusses her connection with Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk and the terrible betrayal she experienced in graphic detail.

Their relationship, according to Yvonne, was like something out of a fairy tale, complete with sweet gestures like breakfast in bed. She even talks about how Iyanya tattooed her initials, YN, on his wrist as a sign of their dedication, and how she thought their love would last forever.

She claimed that up until an unidentified individual contacted her from his home and informed her of Tonto’s frequent visits, she believed their connection to be real and had no idea it would end.

Yvonne claims that Tonto responded to her Twitter criticism by telling her to end their relationship because emotions vary and the singer’s affections for her had changed.

Iyanya, however, responded to the accusations on Monday via his Twitter account, expressing disbelief and promising to address them later.

“So Yvonne Nelson said I cheated on her with Tonto Dikeh? Oh wow. I’ll respond to this later. I no go write book, but… for now, make I go watch my new video director just send me now. Love & Trust Ft Joeboy,” he tweeted.
