Khaid speaks about switching from Islam to Christianity

Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, better known as Khaid, a Nigerian singer and rapper, has disclosed that he converted from Islam to Christianity.

The “Anabella” singer revealed that he grew up in a mosque and was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother.

Khaid claimed that when he was younger, his father forced him to attend the mosque, and that he eventually converted to Christianity because he loathed being there.

During a talk on the Zero Conditions podcast, the 19-year-old revealed that his parents offered him and his siblings the opportunity to practice any religion they wished.

In addition to his father, the singer said that his older sister and younger brother are Muslims, while the rest of his family is Christian.
