This summer, Manchester United expressed interest in signing Mathys Tel, the 18-year-old striker from Bayern Munich. Tel is vying for the striker position alongside Harry Kane and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Tel is aware of the interest from Manchester United but remains hopeful about becoming the first choice at Bayern Munich. He plans to engage in discussions with the club in the upcoming weeks. However, if he doesn’t feel the club fully believes in him, he will consider his options in the summer.
Tel has demonstrated his prowess on the field, netting six goals and providing three assists in just 732 minutes of play for Bayern this season. Despite his impressive performance, he faces stiff competition from Harry Kane and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting for playing time.
Additionally, Bayern is contemplating acquiring a new striker in the summer, especially considering that Choupo-Moting’s contract is unlikely to be renewed.
