This generated fury on social media, with many criticizing the Marlian Music CEO and calling for his arrest, as well as the arrest of his associate, Sam Larry.
Netizens began unfollowing him in droves and encouraged others to do the same, claiming that he was done with the Nigerian music industry.
On the photo and video sharing app called Instagram, the artist had 7.4 million followers. However, as of the publication of this article, he had 6.8 million followers, a loss of almost 600,000 followers.
