OAP Nedu expresses his views on marriage
Nedu underlined that negativity on social media is frequently amplified, especially when it comes to marriage.
Despite rising divorce rates, popular media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, has stated that working marriages do still exist.
During a recent episode of his Honest Bunch podcast, Nedu, who recently revealed his new partner months after his previous marriage ended, professed belief in the institution of marriage.
He urged singles not to be swayed by dismal reports about marriages. After reality TV personality Teddy A, a guest on the program, related the tale of his own courtship of his wife Bam Bam, this advise was given.
He stressed that hatred on social media is frequently amplified, especially when it comes to marriage. He observed that those who have successful marriages typically kept them a secret to avoid scrutiny and criticism because outside opinions can be detrimental to a relationship.
“This is me telling you guys that marriage works. Don’t be deceived by what you see on social media. On social media, the voice of the ones that don’t work is the loudest. The many that work, they want to keep it private because na wetin person know na e he dey spoil.” He said.
