Peter Okoye reacts to video of Imo Governor’s speech
Mr. P, a popular Nigerian artist, has reacted to a video of Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, declaring that he would aid 4,000 Imo state indigenes in relocating abroad.
Hope Uzodinma declared during a campaign rally in Imo state ahead of the November 11 governorship election that he will help them find job prospects in Europe and Canada by December 2023.
He went on to say that the state government will pay for their plane tickets to the countries, which drew cheers and acclaim from the audience.
This promise irritated Peter Okoye of the PSquare music group, who ridiculed his statement on the microblogging platform X.

He also considers it ludicrous that a governor promises to send his people abroad for better jobs rather than developing ones in his state.
