Portable drags Shallipopi

The controversial Portable, a Nigerian singer, has accused Shallipopi, a fast-rising artiste, of faking his way to the top of the music chart.

Shallipopi, who was just freed from prison after being caught and sentenced for online fraud, has released the song “Ex-Convict.”

Portable said that Shallipopi uses streaming farms to artificially raise his song’s popularity and propel it quickly up the charts.

The music quickly rose to the number two position on Apple Music Nigeria. Portable, on the other hand, was skeptical about this accomplishment.

He questioned Shallipopi’s fame and the number of fans he has, which might have driven his song to the top of Apple Music in such a short amount of time.

“Who be that Shallipopi? they will still carry you. You wey dem just release. How many music you sing? Who sabi your face? You wey dem just release, you con dey top chart. Me wey go prison, I no top chart.” Portable said.
