PSG is interested in Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix after a disappointing stint at Chelsea.
According to Relevo, Paris Saint-Germain is interested in signing Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix.
Following the departure of Lionel Messi to Inter Miami CF and the persistent links of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid, the Ligue 1 champions are expected to be looking for attacking reinforcements this summer.
PSG is also seeking for a new manager to replace Christophe Galtier, who has been fired but is still under contract with the club. A prosecutor stated Friday that Galtier is also the subject of French probe into racism charges at his former club Nice.
Former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique has been connected with the job at Parc des Princes.
Felix, meanwhile, has struggled at Atleti since his €126 million move from Benfica in 2019, scoring only 34 goals. Following a public spat with manager Diego Simeone last season, the LaLiga club is reportedly eager to sell Felix this summer.
Felix had a dismal loan spell at Chelsea in the second half of last season, scoring only four goals for the west London team.
While both the 23-year-old and Atleti are eager to move on, Los Colchoneros will expect a large fee for the forward, who is under contract with the club until 2027. According to reports, Felix is most likely to depart on loan this summer, with most teams in Europe unwilling to pay a high fee.
