Sancho puts his career at risk

According to reporters Jadon Sancho’s Manchester United career is jeopardized if he refuses to apologize for his public spat with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho has been instructed to practice alone after accusing Ten Hag of lying about why he was withdrawn during the international break in a 3-1 loss to Arsenal.

The pair met at Carrington this week, but Sancho has refused to apologize, and there is no timetable for his return to the first-team squad until he does.

According to newsmen, Ten Hag will not back down from his demand for an apology – both privately and publicly – and if Sancho refuses, it is probable that he will leave the club when the transfer window reopens in January.

Ten Hag refused to go into specifics regarding the Sancho situation during a press conference on Friday, but he did touch on his effort to enforce discipline standards since his arrival at Old Trafford.

Sancho is not the first Manchester United player to be asked to apologize to Ten Hag.

When Ronaldo was suspended for a game in October last season after refusing to come on as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Tottenham, he was only reintegrated into the squad after expressing contrition for his actions via social media.

Sancho erased the social media post in which he accused Ten Hag of using him as a “scapegoat for a long time,” but he has not apologized for his outburst.

Sancho’s concern is that he believes he has been treated unfairly in comparison to the rest of the squad, and he is frustrated that the club was willing to listen to bids for him in the final week of the transfer window.

Late interest from Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq fell through.

Sancho‘s future at Old Trafford is complicated by his expensive contract. The 23-year-old has a contract worth more than £300,000 per week until 2026, making it tough to find a club prepared to take him on without United taking a significant financial penalty.
