Sarkodie breaks silence on Yvonne Nelson’s allegations
Sarkodie, a popular Ghanaian rapper, has finally spoken out about actress Yvonne Nelson’s claim that he forced her to terminate a pregnancy.
This accusation was made by the 37-year-old actress in her recently published biography titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
She alleged that Sarkodie impregnated her in 2010 and refused to accept responsibility for their unborn child, forcing her to terminate the pregnancy.
According to Yvonne, the 37-year-old musician refused to acknowledge the pregnancy because he was already involved with another lady.
Yvonne writes in part in the chapter titled ‘He said no,’
“I realized I wasn’t the only one to blame for the situation, so I contacted the man whose potent seed had germinated in me.” Michael Owusu Addo, best known as Sarkodie, is a well-known Ghanaian musician.”
In response to Yvonne Nelson’s allegation, Sarkodie has produced a diss tune named ‘Try Me’.
The musician said in the song that he advised her to keep the pregnancy even though he was not financially ready, but Yvonne refused because she was still in school.
He further accused her of being a ‘hoe’ who slept with other men and sucked various d*cks, and dared her to tell her entire story. He hoped, however, that she receives the necessary healing because she seemed to be in pain.
He said “I never thought I was going on this wave, cause I was ready to take a couple of things to my grave. First of all, let me clap for you baby you are brave but you can’t pick and choose what to say pls behave, nobody sent you so Ohemaa if you want to talk, you have to tell the world every n*gga that you f*cked.
He continues that ” I am not going to sit here and lie we had a thing, first I thought we were cool till I had a hint … You told me you were pregnant and I was the one to be blamed … yes I wasn’t ready but I told you to keep it and you explained that you have to complete your school”.
