In a recent viral video, the musician explained how he discovered that the Nigerian Police are involved in kidnapping.
Seun Kuti recounted being detained and placed in cell one, which is intended for serious criminals, rather than cell two, where celebrities are generally housed.
He discovered in cell one that the police are participating in every abduction organization in Nigeria, serving as the kingpin.
The Grammy-nominated musician stated that the police have kidnapped the majority of Nigerians.
He defined kidnapping as being apprehended against one’s will and requesting to be released in exchange for money.
