Simi speaks on meeting Adekunle Gold
Simisola Kosoko, a Nigerian singer and songwriter better known as Simi, has revealed her first encounter with her husband, Adekunle Gold.
In an interview with the Tea with Taye podcast, the exceptional vocalist revealed that when she first met Adekunle Gold, she had no idea he was a singer.
She mentioned how, before meeting him, she had already decided not to marry a singer. Simi claimed she was aware of his musical interests but was unaware that they were essential to him.
She also claimed that her husband has a background in graphic design and was employed by many companies when they met. According to the artist, she opted to date Adekunle because she perceived him as a sweet and compassionate Yoruba guy.
The “Duduke” singer also revealed that Adekunle Gold left her a note on Facebook, which she is yet to respond to.
