The self-proclaimed ‘African Giant’ turned 32 on Sunday, July 2, but was in Europe for the ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ festival.
Burna Boy‘s mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, along with his friends, staged a huge surprise for him as the clock struck at midnight.
The musician took to his Twitter to share a video of the wonderful moment he was honored at the event, which elicited a flood of positive responses.
In the video, Burna Boy was performing in front of over 45,000 people when he was surprised by his mother and team, who appeared on stage bearing balloons and a cake.
They also sang him a lovely rendition of the birthday song. Interestingly, after the birthday party, Burna Boy proceeded to present the audience with his birthday cake.
