Tems Celebrates as her Song Lands Rolling Stone’s best songs list of 2024.
After debuting on the UK charts, Tems has more to celebrate as her track lands on Rolling Stone’s 2024 list of best songs.
Her soulful single “Love Me JeJe” has been recognized by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the top songs of 2024. Released in April as the lead single from her debut album “Born in the Wild,” the song creatively interpolates Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 hit of the same name.
The music video, which Tems self-directed as a tribute to her hometown of Lagos, even features a cameo from Sodimu himself.
Rolling Stone’s recognition further enhances the overall appeal of “Born in the Wild,” with Tems standing as the sole African artist featured this year.
