The Cavemen chose music over their education

Kingsley Okorie, one-half of the well-known Nigerian highlife ensemble The Cavemen, has spoken openly about his professional goals.

He revealed why, despite being certified to practice law, he chose to pursue music professionally on the most recent episode of The Nancy Isime Show with his brother and bandmate Benjamin Okorie.

He claimed that music has always been his first love, and that after graduating from law school, he chose to pursue a career in music with his brother Benjamin rather than a legal profession.

Unlike his brother, Benjamin chose to attend a music academy rather than a university.
