Zinoleesky refuses to identify himself with his label
Zinoleesky, a Nigerian singer, appears to have formed his own entertainment company in the aftermath of his colleague Mohbad’s death.
Zinoleesky, whose US tour was recently canceled by the event promoter, appears to have switched from Marlian Music to his own record company, just days after Mohbad’s unexpected death.
Zinoleesky was also chastised for being silent while Mohbad was being mistreated by Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.
Zinoleesky’s Instagram bio does not include the name of any record label prior to Mohbad’s murder. However, the 27-year-old musician has added “Zinonymous Sounds” to his bio in a recent update.
Although it has not been officially announced that he has left Marlian Music, there are rumors that his decision to promote his personal brand, ‘Zinonymous Sounds,’ is driven by the internet backlash that Marlian Music is currently receiving.
